Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of DuelyNoted ("we", "us") for the use of the DuelyNoted mobile application and website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms.
1. What the Service is — and is not
DuelyNoted is a tool for manually tracking subscriptions, bills, free trials and renewals, with reminders you configure.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country).
- Keep your credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- Provide a valid email address so we can service your account.
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete account.
3. Your content
Everything you enter (items, amounts, notes, decisions) remains yours. You grant us only the limited licence needed to store and process it in order to operate the Service for you. We never sell it. See the Privacy Policy for how it is handled.
4. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service: no unlawful content, no attempts to breach security or access other users' data, no reverse engineering except where the law permits, no automated scraping, and no reselling of the Service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules or abuse the infrastructure.
5. Reminders are best-effort
Reminders are delivered by your device's local notification system and depend on your device settings, permissions and operating-system behaviour. We work hard to make them dependable, but we cannot guarantee delivery, and we are not responsible for charges, renewals or fees that occur because a reminder was missed, delayed or dismissed, or because entered information was incomplete or out of date.
6. Free service and future subscriptions
DuelyNoted is currently free. An optional paid tier ("Pro") may be introduced later, billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. If so, the subscription terms and refund policy apply, prices will always be shown before purchase, and the free tier will remain functional.
7. Service changes and availability
We may improve, change or discontinue features. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available"; to the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects the mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim (or, if you have paid nothing, to re-providing the Service). We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including third-party subscription charges.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts for breach of these terms, giving notice where practicable. Sections that by their nature should survive (3, 5, 7, 8) survive termination.
10. Changes to these terms
If we make material changes we will flag them in the app or by email before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance.
